President Zardari has asked the Sindh government not to interfere in PML-Q ministers’ affairs.
President Zardari and PML-Q chief Ch Shujaat Hussain had a contact in which the PML-Q chief was assured that there would be no unnecessary meddling in the affairs of Q ministries in Sindh. The President has reportedly given directions to Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah in this regard.
PML-Q had yesterday announced quitting coalition in Sindh, with its ministers and advisers submitting resignation to Federal Minister Ghaus Bakhsh Mehr.
The PML-Q move comes at a time when the Sindh government is already grappling with the situation caused by MQM quitting the Sindh cabinet.
